Wanderland Festival 2013 Photodump

So I attended my first ever music festival last May 18! Thank heavens that some production group finally came up with this idea and chose some of the best bands to perform in one day as well. This is seriously one of the best concerts I’ve attended and the fact that I got to experience it with some of my closest friends who share the same taste in music as I have, made it all the more awesome and amazing.

I honestly didn’t mind the heat during the afternoon because I was very much comfortable lying down on our mat while listening to the first few bands, and while it’s not yet too overcrowded. I got myself familiarized with the bands before the main acts—Avalance City, Colour Coding, and Tully on Tully–and I surprisingly got addicted to their music as well.

Then the main acts finally performed: Nada Surf, Neon Trees, and The Temper Trap. Although I would’ve wanted Neon Trees to close the show because of their energy, I still loved the fact that the whole music festival closed with The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’. All in all, it really was an amazing experience and I can’t wait for their line-up for next year! Crossing my fingers that it would involve some of my other favorite bands again.
